The Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank Thomas and Sharon Procida, owners of the brand new Grocery Outlet store in the Calverton shopping center for their generous donation.

President Margie Dickey, Chief Mike Adams, Chris Scheer and Chaplain Mike Schaffer (not pictured) were on hand for the grand opening on July 11 where the check was presented in front of a cheering crowd.

The long awaited, new grocery store has opened in the former location of Giant Food on Beltsville Drive in Calverton.
