Just after 0400 hrs. Communications received a 911 hang up with someone crying for help. Utilizing the CAD system they were able to determine that the call came from the area of the BARC off Powder Mill Rd. Engine 312 and Ambulance were dispatched to that area. Unknown to the proper location units from 31 checked several private homes and checked most of the major roads going through BARC, but were unable to find anything. Communications was able to narrow it down to the area of Center Rd just off Powder Mill Rd. Trooper 2 was brought in to assist, after several hours of searching by BVFD, PGFD, PGPD, BARC, US Park Police and the use the latitude/longitude and Goggle Earth they were able to get a hint off the cell phone. After 3 hours of searching a adult female was found and to be safe.
